Ray Lewis has finally made his decision and will re-join the Baltimore Ravens, from the beginning there was no question on were Ray Lewis was going until, DeMarcus Ware came out and said that Lewis did not want to go back to the Ravens.For a few days after this statement was made, it looked like Lewis was not going to return to Baltimore. But then Ray Lewis came out and cleared up the subject by confirming that he didn't say he would not return to the Ravens and would still go back if he was asked.
The deal has yet to be signed on the dotted line, but they have agreed on a deal. The contract is reported to be along the lines of three-years, worth $20 million to $25 million. The deal should be finalized in the next few days.
With C Jason Brown signing with the Rams, Baltimore were in need of someone to fill the roll. So they went out and signed veteran C Matt Birkon on Wednesday, who has spent his entire career in Minnesota.
Other news, TE L.J. Smith will visit the Falcons, the Falcons need a TE to replace Alge Crumpler, who was let go last season.
